Atigun Valley on the Dalton Highway

Don Bain's 360° Panoramas of

Northern and Interior Alaska

This is a vast region, larger than Texas. It has few roads and Fairbanks is the only city. The Dalton Highway is one of only three roads in the world to go to the shores of the Arctic Ocean. Denali National Park holds the highest point in North America. Though the Parks Highway and the Alaskan Railway provide a lifeline to the rest of Alaska, anyone wishing to explore the part of Alaskan must take to the air.
