Lake Tahoe Veterinary Conference Trip
October 10 to 12, 2013
Every year my wife, Dr Nora Weldon, attends at least one veterinary medicinal conference. This year it was held in Squaw Valley near Lake Tahoe, the site of the 1960 Winter Olympics, and still one of the principal downhill ski areas in California. For me this was an opportunity to augment my panoramic coverage of the Lake Tahoe area. We took the camper, but ended up not camping, it was just too cold.

It was clear autumn weather at Tahoe, still a lot of yellow leaves on the cottonwoods and aspens. In the morning I made a short foray up the Truckee River to the lake outlet. In the afternoon Nora joined me for a slightly longer trip down the west shore of the lake to Sugar Pine Point State Park.

Once again I took photographs alone in the morning, then with Nora in the afternoon. Unfortunately she had to work the next day so we reluctantly drove home that evening.
