360° VR Panoramas of Northern and Central Nevada
Baker
On Highway 50, Nevada

Baker is hardly more than a name on the map, but it is the place you turn off the highway for Great Basin National Park.

If you don't have time to drive up the Snake Range to the park you can at least learn something about it at the new visitor center west of town. It features a cross-section of Prometheus, the oldest tree ever discovered - and cut down in the interests of science. You can read about it at Wikipedia
