360° VR Panoramas of El Camino Real
The Cuyama Valley
East of Maricopa, California

The Cuyama Valley would be much like the Carrizo Plain were it not for the irrigated agriculture on the valley floor and a few oil fields around the edges.

Most years there is a brief but brilliant wildflower bloom on the uncultivated slopes of the Cuyama. The best places to see them are the side roads to Cottonwood and Aliso Canyons.
