Fremont Lake in the Wind River Range
North of Pinedale, Wyoming

Fremont Lake, ten miles long, a startlingly blue alpine lake tucked between moraines and granite foothils of the Wind River Range. The lower end has improvements built by the CCC in the 1930's, a boat ramp, a beach, and a campground. The rest of the lake is accessible only by water.
