360° VR Panoramas of the San Joaquin Valley
Kern County
San Joaquin Valley, California

California's third largest county, Kern spans a number of different landscapes. In the west there are major oil fields, in the east it includes the southern Sierra Nevada and Tehachapi Mountains, plus a corner of the Mojave Desert.

But the heart and soul of Kern County is the rich agricultural area centered on Bakersfield. Irrigated orchards and vineyards, dotted with oil wells, characterize this landscape.
