Prada Marfa art Installation - the cleaned-up front

Artists Elmgreen and Dragset refer to this whimsical "sculpture" as a "pop architectural land art project". It was built in 2005 and immediately vandalized and burglarized. Actual Prada products on display inside were stolen. The damage was repaired and an alarm system installed.
