360° VR Panoramas of The Great River Road in Mississippi
Melrose Mansion
Natchez National Historical Park, Mississippi

The National Park Service uses Melrose Plantation, on the outskirts of Natchez, as headquarters for Natchez National Historical Park. It includes practical outbuildings such as stables and smithy, and an exhibit on slave quarters. Interpretation is excellent, to be expected from the NPS, and in contrast to the elegaic and superficial descriptions encountered at many antebellum mansions.Wikipedia: Natchez National Historical Park on Wikipedia.
