360° VR Panoramas of the Northern California Coast, Coast Ranges, and Redwood Highway
Main Street
Mendocino City, California

Mendocino's Main Street runs west from the old coast highway (now Lansing Street). Five blocks long, it consists of a row of New England style Victorian buildings, all built of redwood, with the Mendocino Hotel in the middle.

Mendocino is the town portrayed as Crab Cove, Maine, in the "Murder She Wrote" televison series. Many episodes of this series, and spin-off mystery books, were written by Donald Bain. No, not me, the other Donald Bain.
