360° VR Panoramas of Mount Shasta and the Klamath-Trinity Mountains
Mount Shasta City
Siskiyou County, California

What used to be called Mount Shasta City is now legally called simply Mount Shasta - how confusing! In addition to its small downtown it has an historic fish hatchery and a string of charming old-fashioned motels. It also has two bottled water operations, utilizing springs from the base of Mount Shasta. The Sacramento River is held by some to originate in one particular spring in Weed's city park.

Mount Shasta (City) is also known as a religious center, including the headquarters of the IAM foundation. You will see shops specializing in spiritual and metaphysical books, crystals and charms, along the main street, and may notice references to Saint Germain and the spiritual vortex. For spiritual seekers there are a number of spiritual consultants available.
