360° VR Panoramas of El Camino Real
The Northern Gabilan Range
Between Fremont Peak and Pinnacles, California

Gabilan (gavilan) is the Spanish word for hawk. The Gabilan Range is seen by anyone traveling Highway 101 through Monterey County, and contains a national park, yet remains little known. Between Fremont Peak at its north end and Pinnacles at the south it is all private land, crossed by only one public road.

La Gloria Road crosses the Gabilan Range between Gonzales in the Salinas Valley and Highway 25 north of Pinnacles National Park. It is a scenic drive and the easiest way to get from one side of Pinnacles to the other.
