The Pacific Grove Shoreline
Pacific Grove, California

Every inch of the Pacific Grove shoreline is now open to the public. The pathway along the calm Monterey Bay side blazes with magic carpet iceplant in April, big waves from the open Pacific crash against the rocks at Point Pinos, and Spanish Bay offers great beach walking.

In the mid-1980's I lived in Pacific Grove and sometimes walked to work in Monterey along this magical shore.
