360° VR Panoramas of Mount Shasta and the Klamath-Trinity Mountains
Shasta Valley
Siskiyou County, California

Shasta Valley, between Mount Shasta and the Klamath River, is dotted with innumerable cinder cones, small lava flows, and huge chunks of rock from a massive landslide. There are also a number of lava tube caves, one quite large, and probably many yet undiscovered.

Most of the valley is ranchland or irrigated pasture, with recreational development at Lake Shastina. Views of the north side of Mount Shasta are spectacular, especially in winter and spring.
