Stoneman Meadow in Yosemite Valley
Yosemite National Park, California

Stoneman Meadow is north of Camp Curry and affords wide open views of Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Glacier Point. On July 4 1970 this was the scene of the Stoneman Meadow Riot, when mounted rangers rode through crowds of unruly young people.
