360° VR Panoramas of Northern and Central Nevada
Tonopah
At the crossroads of Highways 95 and 6, Nevada

Tonopah is yet another of those historic Nevada mining towns. It is the service center for a huge area of desert ranching and scattered mines and an important crossroads. It is really the only town along Highway 6 between Bishop (California) and Ely - a stretch of 285 miles. Along Highway 95 it is the halfway point between Las Vegas and Reno (over 400 miles).
